So you’re looking for stuff do do in Derby and Nottingham?  Ever considered Hovercrafts?  Well, these vehicles are terrific fun whether you’re on land or water (just on land at our Derbyshire venue!)

Driven by powerful 2 stroke air cooled 40hp engines, you’re going to need to keep your wits about you to get the most out of them, so thankfully all the training is provided beforehand

One engine provides thrust and lift, therefore you need to ‘balance’ the throttle and shift your weight to steer – it’s not all about bags of throttle here but more about controlled skill

And be rest assured these hovers are the real deal – in fact they were designed and built by the same team that provided the hovers used in the James Bond film Die Another Day

Oh yeah, there are no brakes either. So, erm……good luck with that!
