River Tubing in the heart of the Peak District.

You’re looking for something unique for your next staff incentives day or corporate event in Derbyshire or the Peak District? And we bet you’ve probably not heard of tubing before? Well… you’re in for a right old treat!

On arrival your guests will get to meet our highly trained Instructors to go through a safety briefing and get measured up for the wetsuits, safety helmets and buoyancy vests. Then it’s time to jump into your custom ‘built for the River’ tube (NOT inner tubes like some people think!) and take to floating down the bottom section of the beautiful Peak District river rafting run

The float time is around 40 minutes, and during this picturesque journey you’ll get to navigate your way through the many twists, dips and turns of the River Derwent. But it’s not all calm and serene. Oh certainly not

Then it’s time to take on the rapids in style!

This activity is at its very, very best when there’s a large group of you all floating and bouncing down the river and rapids together – and it’s flipping hilarious!

Your River Guide (who will be kayak based) will give you hints and tips to ensure you all safely navigate your way downstream, then it’s over to you!

Steering your tube around the river is really easy, as your specifically designed neoprene hand paddles are effective even in the white stuff. Yes you wear them on your hands to steer, so let’s have some races and challenges while we make our way down the river

You’ll end up in Matlock Bath, which is a lovely local town with lots of pubs and restaurants if you fancy a bite to eat afterwards. We’ll lay on the transport to take you back to the starting point and there is a lovely country pub awaiting that serves some wonderful home cooked meals. There are showers and changing facilities at your disposal too. It’s a great place to grab some lunch and a beer for afterwards, and we can even reserve a room for you in the pub if you need some space for a meeting or presentation afterwards. Just have a chat with us about your requirements when you call and we’ll give you some great options and ideas to get your teeth into
