River Rafting in the heart of the Peak District.

Fancy a really scenic yet exciting activity for your next corporate entertainment event or team building day out for the staff in Derbyshire’s Peak District?

Then jump aboard our river rafts that are based on the River Derwent in the Peak District. We guarantee this will be an experience your group won’t forget

We’ve got lots of 8 seater rafts just waiting to put a big daft grin on all your guests’ faces!

The River Derwent gradually winds through 66 picturesque miles in the heart of the Peak District, flowing down to Shadlow where it parts into the River Trent. Your lucky group of explorers will be rafting through 4.5 miles of Derwent water between Darley Dale and Matlock Bath. To keep things interesting and exciting for group based activities we’ve split this section into two parts, the upper and lower sections

The Upper Section –

After starting your journey from the nearby country pub, your group will be making their way through the stunning Derbyshire countryside. Your guests will be rewarded by sights of the rolling hills that give way to the rivers many turns and twists

This is the calmer section that provides the perfect setting to practice working as a team before having a crack at the lower half

Hot day? Fancy cooling off? Go ahead – jump right into the river and float next to the raft for a bit!

The Lower Section…

The lower section is where your guests get to take on the Derwent rapids
This is where you’ll come face to face with small grade white water which will keep your team needing to stay sharp as they take on rapids named Town Falls and Flip Bridge! Great for team building and getting people to think about what they’re doing as a group to get the best results

Feeling daring?? We can push the envelope and in certain circumstances this can result in your raft flipping upside down. But only if you’ve asked us to!

Drop dead beautiful scenery awaits, and we’re pretty sure you won’t have seen Matlock from THIS angle before! While you’re floating through the Wind Tunnel your guests will get the chance to look up at the famous High Tor Cliff where you can spot the climbers. Give them a wave and they might just wave back!

The end of your river trip this brings you into the lovely town of Matlock Bath. We will lay on the transport to bring you back where you started from, and don’t forget that there’s a lovely country pub awaiting your group. Hungry? They offer some great wholesome fayre at the pub, and they can reserve one of their rooms for you if you need somewhere to have a meeting or awards presentation afterwards. Obviously we’ll organise all of that for you if you like. Give us a call and we’ll run through some ideas and costs with you. We’ll make it all nice and simple so you can concentrate on other things
