Our game butchery experiences are hosted at our stunning private country estate located in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, our country estate is just the perfect venue for this country themed activity. And it’s convenient to get to from Staffordshire, the Peak District, Birmingham, Nottingham and Derby

Our very highly skilled game butcher will introduce you many aspects of the art of game butchery in the 3 hour experience. Your guests will get the opportunity to prepare a carcass & learn all about the different cuts of meat. And you’ll also get the chance to make some mouth-watering venison sausages, and we’re pretty confident in saying that you won’t have tasted a better sausage!

But it won’t end there. Your group has gone to all the hard work of preparing these fine cuts of meat, so how about we then cook it for you right on site. And we’ll add lots of tasty locally grown veg and throw in some delicious breads. Just wait until those smells start wafting across the room! We’ll serve the meal to you in the on-site clubhouse, which is a wonderful traditional log cabin style building. There’s plenty of comfortable seating and did we mention there’s a fully stocked bar too? And it’s a great place to have a meeting, sales presentation, seminar or brainstorming session too, and of course if you’re joining us for some activities we’ll be only too happy to let you have exclusive use of the clubhouse facilities
