When it comes to organising your next staff day out, we’re very lucky to be based right here in Derbyshire, as there are some absolutely places to visit hidden away in the rolling countryside that’s so abundant round here. One such place is our private country estate, which can be found in Ashbourne, so it’s right on the southern tip of the Peak District

And the estate plays host to some wonderful country pursuits, including this one. Fly fishing can be a wonderful addition to your team away day or corporate event, as it slows the pace down and allows you to learn a true countryside skill

The lucky members of your group will get to learn some unforgettable techniques from a world travelled fly fisherman on our private lake. And don’t worry, we keep it readily stocked with beautiful rainbow trout

Now we’re going to do our upmost to ensure you catch a cracking fish each. And we allow each member of your group to take one fish away with them to enjoy at home. However, if you don’t catch anything in the 2 hour session we do have a small back up pond where we can salvage your dinner from!

Don’t think it’ll be exciting enough for your group? Just you wait ‘till you get a bite!!

Our packages are primarily designed for people who haven’t tried fly fishing before, although it’s also great for the more experienced anglers too. If any of your guests have their own rods and tackle they’re more than welcome to bring it along with them, although of course everything is supplied for those who haven’t tried this sport before

This activity works beautifully if incorporated into one of our multi activity days. The country estate also offers numerous other activities for your guests to try their hands at, including Clay Pigeon Shooting, Bushcraft & Survival Skills, Pump Action Shotguns and our infamous Sniper School!

And of course we’ll keep your stomachs entertained too with some truly gob smacking catering options. There’s a lovely log cabin style clubhouse on site too, and it also has a fully stocked bar. What a lovely place to spend a day with your work colleagues or suppliers!
