This charming period property is located in a pretty Derbyshire village within a conservation area, in the wooded valley of the River Derwent.
This unique stone chapel was built in 1846 but has been skilfully converted into a charming holiday home with fantastic river views. Period features have been incorporated to compliment the interior.
There is a 38ft lounge complete with original pulpit, which is overlooked from the balustrade dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with two gas ranges. There is a second upper lounge which overlooks the river Derwent and 5 bathrooms (not all with baths, seven showers in total).
There are 8 bedrooms, of which 3 have en-suite facilities. Seven of the bedrooms have a wash basin. There are four great pubs within half a mile serving real ale to which the area is well known for. There are nearby shops and restaurants and on street parking.

As well as the property there is a raised and lawned garden area with picnic tables and BBQ. There is a further two acres of woodland, although this is steep and only for the more adventurous guest.
There is also an onsite Finnish sauna suite.
This is truly a great property and fantastic village location
